DRUM MAJOR INSTINCT

On February 4, 1968, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered “The Drum Major Instinct” message in Atlanta, Georgia.  He discussed the importance of being a “Drum Major”, or leader, for positive change. Our goal is to provide support as you pursue higher education and make a positive difference in the world.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Be a graduating senior attending a high school in Broward, Miami-Dade, or Palm Beach County.
  2. Provide proof of serving in a leadership role in a campus or community-based organization
  3. Provide proof of admission to an accredited university, college, or vocational training program for the Summer or Fall 2025 semester
  4. Submit a signed letter of recommendation
  5. Application, including essay, must be submitted by April 4, 2025.
